Can share on review on Admiralty Secondary School.

Admiralty SS has very strong bonding among the school leaders, parents, teachers, students and alumni, the school places importance and value its partnership with parents.

The school has caring and supportive environment. Strict discipline. Slow progress students are well supported and high ability students are well stretched. PSG is very strong, responsive and supportive.

Students from all streams are nurtured equally, and most importantly many learning opportunities open to all students.

After seeing elder children progress well, many parents have more than a child are studying in the school even though their children have higher t-score and eligible for other schools.

From other Forums, many parents share very positive feedback/reviews.

Students have personal learning devices, iPad while other still rely on shared facilities such as computer labs for ICT-based lessons.

The school has unique Applied Learning Programme (ALP) which integrates Design Thinking with learning journeys, many school programmes are designed to gets its students to become future ready, to be empathetic, critical thinkers and innovators.

All students regardless of stream are having at least a chance to participate in cultural immersion programme during secondary education in the school.

Admiralty Secondary School and Yishun Secondary School are having totally different Applied Learning Programmes or niche programmes.

Admiralty Secondary School - Science, Techonology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)(Robotics & Coding)
Yishun Secondary School - Aesthetics (Sonic Arts - Music Technology, Music Composition, Sound Design, Recording Art, Video Creation).

Do take ALP into consideration in order to find a programme that suits your child's strength.

My two children are from Express. Both schools are having committed and dedicated school leaders and teachers,
very caring and supportive learning environment.

ALP of Woodlands Ring Secondary School is also STEM (The Robotics Education and Enterprise).
