I have totally no idea too.Hi parents,
Anyone of you know what are we supposed to do with those little chinese cards that we bought as part of the booklist? Any idea if the Chinese teachers will be going through them or are we supposed to go through with the kids? Reason being that almost half a year has passed and they have not been informed to take the cards to school and there are 2 boxes of them (1A and 1B).
There were also few other items from the booklist which are not being used at all till todate (eg. dictionary, jotterbook, exercise book). But I guess since he is going to be in the school till P6, so can keep them for later use.
Understood from my boy that the cards are for some sort of Chinese games. Not confirmed though ...... -
Hi parents,
Any idea if the school organises school holidays programmes for the P1s?
Just wondering as I know of other schools who have sent out circulars on such school holidays courses. -

Separately, would you know if the kids are allowed to attend the Meeting the Teachers session next week? I had thought no need but just to be sure  -

I'll hv to bring DS along for the meeting, as I don't leave him alone at home yet. He can always go library or somewhere in sch if needed to. Am wonder if it's ok 4 him to wear home clothes & if parking allowed in school compound?

Hi,
May I check with parents who were PVs in NCPS for P1 registration last year. Do you remember when were you notified of the status of your PV application?
My sister sent in the application around Sept last year. My niece is due for registration next year, so PV to start this year. But the school still has not inform them of the outcome and told her that they’ll notify them in August. But, PV should start already by June this year, rite?
Thanks much for any information. -
Hi parents,
Just wanted to check how did the "Parents - Teacher" meeting go for you?
Mine was over in like 2 mins…hence didn’t glean much about my child from the teacher. Maybe coz I didn’t really ask as I had some problems communicating. Some parents before me took more than 10 - 15mins…hahaa… -

Should be sometime in June or early July that you will get a reply. Mine (two years ago) was a phone interview by them on my possible PV contribution to them. A letter was then followed by them informing me that I am not selected as a PV. I would suggest that you give them a call to check on the notification date. Good luck.Hi,

Mine was totally same as yours. Basically I did not gained much from the meeting except to finally see how the form teacher looked like. The teacher couldn't answer much of my questions up to my expectation. However I can understand that if the teacher has 30 parents to meet and if every pair uses up to 15 mins, its really a stressful session for them.Hi parents,

I guess we can't expect the teacher to have time to get to know our kids and especially each and every 30 one of them 'inside out'. The feedback was thus a generic 'textbook' type. So in the end I just had to fall back on the assessment sheets I received from the school on my child's academic performance, when in actual I was more concern on my child's getting along with his peers in school.
