Annieapple:
Dear parents, does anyone know when will the P6 typically stop their CCA? Do they have to attend the full year or say stop after term 1 or 2? Does it apply to all CCA, including the competitive CCA? Thank you in advance!
If I recalled correctly, kids don’t attend CCA after term 2. However, they have to stay in school during the CCA period. Due to the change of CCA timing next year, I can’t comment if the kids will release early or stay in school for revision.. -

For P1/2, prizes will be given to the top 3 students for each subject who achieve highest score in each class. From p3 onwards, it will base on overall aggregate e.g 1st, 2nd, 3rd position in each class and followed by the highest aggregate for each subject for the same cohort. Additionally prizes will be awarded to good character, great improvement of the student results.hi,
not sure if its been asked previously, can I ask if anyone knows in the prize giving ceremony at the end of the year, how the sch determine the prize students? like those having the highest aggregate score in each subject will be the prize winner by class or by each level? other than subjects, there will be other prize like character or others? -

Currently, every year at annual year-end prize award ceremony, Maha Bodhi primary still give prizes to Top 3 students, per class.

From 2019 onwards, Moe National policy specified removed naming Top 3 pupils, per class. They also struck off a lot of information, from Report card, across all Primary & Secondary schools

Hi everyone,
Happy New Year!
Btw can I check if there is any chat group for primary 3 in this year 2019? -

It is not automatic. You have to re-apply under Phase 2C.

May i know how long should we be SBF member before we can apply under 2B phase?
-
May I know how do we get endorsement from SBF committee member? We believe in Buddhism and thinking of enrolling our child in Maha Bodhi.

I don't understand your question.
The 2 are mutually exclusive events from where one stays.
B) Endorsement by SBF committee member. Letters are provided to those endorsed. One can stay more than 2km away too.
C) active community leader basically means serving as grass roots leader within Marine Parade GRC for 2 years and more and had received an endorsement letter from PA. You can stay more than 2km away too given size of Marine Parade GRC.
If you did not qualify for phase 2B, you can only try to enter via phase 2C. 30 places up for grabs with priority for SCs. Tie breaker in this case will be distance. So, if 30 or lesser SCs within 1km try for the school, then this group will not have to ballot, but if more than 30 SCs staying within 1km applies for MBS, balloting will take place.
