Will they be performing a dance & singing song item, at the camp fire ?

MerlionInGermany:
Oh OK.. So basically we won't interact much.. more on sitting there and watch them performing..
They will be doing their performance, and parents will be watching.
She does not want you to go maybe because she doesnt want you to watch her perform.
Do you know what kind of performance?
How about the CCA Fair? Do you know whether it is just seeing the various CCA which is similar to open house?
Thank You!! -

Performance - every group is doing a different thing.

CCA Fair - I think, it will be like the Open House kind of setting, but I am not 100% sure. Maybe for those who missed the OH. And for those who didnt pay attention at the OH (as in maybe when they went, they spent more time at the academic showcase). -

I strongly encourage you to go to the CCA Fair to allow you to help your DD to choose her CCA. She will have to make the CCA audition next week.

I would suggest you & your DD to see her interest, her commitment and how it would affect her LEAPS points.
You can also take the opportunity to ask the students and Teachers about the commitments required for each CCA which may be unique. -

Anyone know, for Sec 1 DSA Sports students, do they put all of them into one, common same class, or spread them all out into various Sec 1 classes, according to their unique field of Sports specialization ? Thank you.
There is no more sports class. -

fyi, over here in St Nick Girls Secondary, one good thing is -AliceTN:
Hi all,
would like to know if any of your girls were from a neighbourhood school and got into CHIJ St Nicholas, did they feel left-out or feel ostracized since most of the girls were from the St Nicholas Primary School? It will only be a small handful of girls that are not from St Nicholas Primary.
At the age of 13, it's the beginning of the peak for puberty, as such, girls are more sensitive.
would really appreciate your comments here.
Many Thanks!
for Sec 3 Higher Chinese, even if Sec 3 students scored B4 and below , they can still proceed to take Higher Chinese immediately, in the next following year (Sec 4, whether is O-level or IP), so as to clear the hurdle Higher Chinese, quickly. Unlike some other very strict SAP Secondary schools, who bar / prevent Sec 4 students from taking Higher Chinese, if students do not score minimum at least a B3 (Higher Chinese), in Sec 3. Yes, there are some other SAP schools, that discriminate this way. Luckily, over here in St Nick, we do Not discriminate.
