I am a mother of 2 boys who goes to full day childcare. I am also an ex-MOE primary school teacher. I can pick up your child from school and supervise him/her to complete their daily homework at my home before you pick them up after your work. Lunch and snacks are provided. No TV or screen time available. Home is based in Choa Chu Kang Ave 3. I will ensure that they follow a fixed schedule. Additional fees payable if you require tuition

Be careful and check the background of BASC that u choose… heard from friend who has kid in BASC n the centre ‘closed’ from 1 blk to move to another blk, only to find out that the original closure was due to ongoing court case that was pasted on the old centre’s door.

‘Writ of possession’ pasted on the door n apparently owed alot of $. Not a nice thing to read…

                Just curious...
Do you have to apply a licence to run a mini BASC at home?

I mean, you're providing homecooked food for the children to consume and going to collect monies from your customer.

Does anyone have experience with enrichment centres offering after-school care services to share? I understand some may not be MSF-registered. Are there any possible issues that might arise if DC is in such a centre?

Hello Parents! We are researchers from the Singapore University of Social Sciences and Ngee Ann Polytechnic, currently conducting a Student Care Centre (SCC) Landscape Study funded by Temasek Foundation to gain deeper insights into the student care sector. We hope to understand your perspectives on after-school care and feedback for improvement. This survey will take around 5 minutes to complete and you will receive a token of appreciation of $5 NTUC vouchers upon completion of the survey.
