Thanks Sembgal and LeeTaiTai for sharing. I must admit that my gal is one of the kids seen crying for 2 consecutive days after the written papers. I tried encouraging her, it didn’t work, she said I am running away from reality. So I told her there is nothing much she can do since the paper is over and she said I was too blunt. That prob causes me not knowing what to say when she asked me on how to revise for Science. I hope with the advice shared with me would help reassure her. Really appreciate the advice given. Big thanks!

I hope what I'm going to say will help. My elder child is in 1 of the top jc. She said her classmate, who is brilliant, is from a neighbourhood sec school. She feels he is the most brilliant student in her class, beating the IP students who probably did very well at psle. Perhaps you can tell your child even if this exam she doesn't get her desired outcome, she can still work hard to get into her dream JC/poly and excel there. Many (incl my child's classmate) stumbled at PSLE but went on to achieve great things later on.

Thanks Whitecarrotcake. I am trying bit by bit to encourage my gal to move on, after all, PSLE is only one of the many phases in life that everyone goes through. This is my first time having a child taking PSLE so I didn’t know what to expect. I hope that all kids taking PSLE this year continue to stay strong for the next few days. The finishing line is near.

Anyone know if my dd will get method marks if she forgets to divide by two for Q2 in Math Paper 2?
