      Hi!

While the suggestions are good for a consideration; we need to identify the cause. I am a strong believer in Chinese medical - treating the syndrome at source as follows.
      1. any change to surrounding - e.g. painting of house or construction nearby
      2. any change to habit - e.g. diet or sleep pattern

seek immediate medical advise if there's no suspect.

          Hi All,

To treat flu and cough watch what you eat, drink hot soups and increase your water intake. Take steamy shower, use a humidifier and blow nose more often. Avoid caffeine, smoking and alcohol and wash your mouth with saltwater. Avoid exercises and take rest.

For mild flu and cold, I normally take

Vitamin C and Grape Seed Extract. It always works!
            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IR1iGKbyEks

I gave that to the kids as well for sneezing, running nose, cold and mild flu.
They love it, and it is effective and good for them.

For cough, it depends on the type of cough, and frequency of occurrence and time, whether it is more frequent in the day or night

Very annoying cough when the haze comes. Sickening. Felt like smoking the whole day. Have to expect this every June?

If you are worry about haze, you can consider the PM2.5 mask from 绿盾。

It was previously recommended by a forumer here. Qoo10 now have a group buy.

i tried eu yan sang ‘cough relief’ last week.

it’s effective for itchy cough and phlegm…compared to taking western syrup which causes constipation and feeling of lethargic. took twice and throat felt better.

                        Is it in lozenges form?
