But didn't GESPS also have balloting last year for 2C Supplement. To add to it they did pretty good for their PSLE last year. So I guess the balloting history for this school will also be changing this july
Gan Eng Seng Primary with thier top PSLE in 2009 defintely their profile would increase. Maybe this time round GESPS would have balloting in Phase 2C. I bet there won't be availabe places available in the Phase 2CS.

For Cantonment Primary to be attractive enough for parents to consider putting their kids there maybe the school has to put forth certain selling points since its new. A good IT infrastructure or a good principal may help?
Maybe they can adopt Beacon Primary as an example? Heard that school become so popular as it is an IT school? Last year a new school name Horizon Primary in Punnggol also have many places left not yet being filled up. -

Actually, if I were staying in The Pinnacle, I wouldn't mind sending my kids to Cantonment Pri. because distance was crucial to me. But, that's just me only..... -
But even with any selling point or infrastructure it would take a few years for a school to be popular enough to conduct balloting

Parents whose children are in Horizon Pri seem very pleased with the school. -

At least 6 years.......

Until parents get to see the school's PSLE performance yah

Why would you want to go through the balloting process? Its a nightmare to begin with. Being a new school you are basically secured of a place or you end up taking chances wif those which are already popular in Bukit Merah area.

Yah...I was thinking along that line. It has to differentiate itself from others. Else how to attract students there.

would think that if a school is popular there should be a good reason for it and vice versa too
