      So if most applicants will apply both schools but eventually will choose NUS, so will there be a long waiting list for NTU applicants ?

        NUS got 3000 applicants, 1000 for interview and will admit 350? NTU will admit 150 or less?
        only 1000 for interview? I thought is much more

          @YLL website

          “ NUS Medicine offers 280 places annually and shortlists approximately 1200 candidates for the admissions assessment.

          All 1200 candidates are ranked based on their scores for the FSA and SJT and the top 280 candidates will be offered a place in NUS Medicine.

          The subsequent 70 candidates will be placed on the NUS Medicine reserve list. Candidates on the reserve list will be notified of their status via email.

          All other candidates will be offered alternative courses.”

              Basically it is a waiting list. Some of the first 280 offer holders may give up their offers due to their preference for LKC or overseas uni.

                  definitely. One previous year parent said most RP90 student will get in unless they dont spoil the FSA/?SJT too badly.
                  Do they still look at RP after shortlisted for interview? Thought admission is decided based on how well one performs during the FSA & SJT?

                    This is how every one said. But FSA/SJT looks no tough. Face to face interview they talk about NS for 25 mins. Not sure how they going to decide 😢

                      Did he apply to any other uni?

                      No. We thought to try NUS this year and other uni in upcoming years since he serving NS currently

                        How to prepare for NUS medicine and dentistry interview? What are being tested? Thanks.

                        do the medicine faculty know the dentistry is interviewing? so will the decison of the 2 faculties affect who they accept? will they say the candidate has a chance with dentistry, they will not offer medicine?

                        I have the same doubt , when a student apply for both medicines, universities get notified ? NUS knows that the student attending NTU interview also ?
