      Thanks eMoh.

Australia Uni looks a little wrong. Monash have indicted 26 for the Degree in Archtectural Design - https://www.monash.edu/__data/assets/pdf_file/0004/911812/Monash-Undergraduate-Course-Guide-International.pdf
this could be their lower bound based on the cohort, with averages in the 40s, there are not many in the early 30s let along late 20s

For students after official O-level results released turn to IB route,

what challenge(s) are they likely to face studying IB, eg. ACSI (IB) ?

The essay writing (similar to writing a report or a thesis) O level students are not trained in this way.

If the student is generally intelligent, and has a decent command of English, learning how to write a report/thesis in a few months is not going to be a challenge. There have been many students who went the O/A routes and then excelled in essay-heavy courses at university, so I don't think students need to fear the O-IB transition.
