The impression I have on NYJC is “mean doctrine” 中庸之道. Striking a balance between extremes. I heard NYJC offers the most subject combinations options catering to each individual interest. Their relative late start time may be good indication of giving student more rest. And their COP is just outside RI and HCI. Sounds like a more relaxing environment + high academic standard.

Based on your criteria, RI and HCI are the best

NJC/VJC are IP schools. Hence, not many places are left for JAE students, even though JAE students probably take up about 50% of the JC intake. It's still a reduction in the number of places available.

I am not talking about the top 2 schools as they are in different league from the rest. RI received 400+400 IP each from RI/RGS, HCI received 400+400 IP each from HCI/NYGH, their IP students already top 3% of every cohort. there is no other schools that can come close to them. Each of them can only accept ~300+ from JAE, and they must be the cream of the JAE.

Not true. Chung cheng high is sap sch, majority of students take HCL, so the affiliation pt is not impt. Most students would have HCL n CCA 4 pts already

Affiliation only gives you two (2) bonus points, not four (4).
It's rather difficult to get into NYJC even with affiliation because of the school's low COP (low COP means difficult to get in). Hence, it cannot be \"most Chung Cheng students who are going JC will choose NYJC\"
NYJC's intake is about 700-800. CCHMS' yearly intake is about 350. Out of these 350, about 50% obtained at least five distinctions (A1/A2). Depending on the type of distinctions, not everyone in this 50% qualifies for NYJC. For simplicity sake, let's assume all these 50% qualify for NYJC. So, there are about 175 students. Let's further assume the same numbers for CCHYS (which is highly unlikely). So, both CCHMS and CCHYS have 350 students. Even if all 350 students apply and qualify for NYJC, they only make up maximum 50% of NYJC's yearly intake. So, I can't see why NJC or VJC's COP is more \"true\" than NYJC.
In fact, I can go one step further to say that the proportion of CCH's students in NYJC is less than the proportion of IP students in NJC. -

All affliated ( CCHM +CCHY ) O-level students need Raw score 10 points (L1R5) or even better, in order to come back to their affliated Nanyang Junior College, if Nanyang JC COP is 6.
Work the same identical way as the affliated Victoria school O-level boys, who need minimum Raw 11 (or better ) to discount to nett 7, if VJC COP is 7 points. VJC offer affliation only to the boys, but not to the O-level Cedar girls.
So, for those Chung Cheng High students armed with Raw 10, they have a choice. If still desire Nanyang JC, can enter based on affliation status. Otherwise, if not keen, but managed to clear HCL, can go Victoria or National or Eunoia JC, or others.
