Purchase of Textbooks and School Attire

Purchase of textbooks and uniforms can be done online or at the school bookshop.

Parents are strongly encouraged to place your orders via Popular's Online Portal at https://textbook.popular.com.sg/

For purchase at school bookshop, it is strictly by appointment booking only.
Please login to https://www.picktime.com/popularschool for your purchases.
Pick your preferred date and time slot.
Fill in the details required and submit your request.
You will receive an email notification to confirm your appointment.

For students who are receiving ISB 100% subsidy, please contact Ms Ong Li Whee at onglw@hci.edu.sg to collect your free textbooks, uniforms, shoes and socks.

Independent School Bursary (ISB)

Singapore Citizens studying in Independent School may apply for assistance under the MOE Independent School Bursary (ISB) Scheme if they meet the income criteria.

Purchase of Hwa Chong Vehicle Decals for Parents

For the safety and security of our students and staff, Hwa Chong members are required to display the Hwa Chong Vehicle Decal on their vehicle's windscreen to access the school campus. Likewise, parent/guardian who need to drive into campus to drop-off/pick-up your child/ward is required to display the Hwa Chong Parent Vehicle Decal, for easy identification by our security officer.

The Hwa Chong Parent Vehicle Decal can be purchased at $3 (inclusive of GST) each and the cost will be deducted from your GIRO account registered with the school on 23 March 2023. Please note that the decals are non-transferable.

Letter of Offer for Third Language - The letter will be sent to the main contact person through email by 28 Dec 2022.
Photo-taking session (passport-sized colour photograph) is scheduled on 10 Jan 2023. Your child/ward will make a payment of $4 to the vendor directly.
MOE will be assisting international students for the renewal of their Student's Passes (SP) in February 2023.
The current Primary level School Smart Card (SSC) is valid for concessionary travel till end April 2023.
