There's nothing wrong in charging for a service as long as they make clear what they are providing and provide what they promise to. If parents want to pay someone else to administer the tests under timed conditions and grade the papers, it's their choice. Some parents don't know where to get papers, or how to mark them, or can't impose timed exam conditions etc.

In the parents chatgroups, got parents band together to hire ex school teachers to administer timed psle exams at their condo function room during june holidays. Each day got different subject. The exams are marked and the ex school teacher will go through the errors.

Each subject mock exam is $100.

The smart way is to use Taylor Swift tickets to motivate the children towards completing mock exam paper at home under timed condition. Calculate the money save in your pockets by not engaging in paid mock exam practice and your children will cooperate with you by doing their papers diligently. The self-motivated ones will mark and analyse mistakes on their own and go for consultations with subject teachers in school.

Good idea, but maybe should be some other \"prize\"! Taylor Swift tickets are not easy to get, so parents may find they can't fulfill the promise. (I have a daughter in process of buying tickets, and it seems more like a lottery than a purchase!)

Someone said that only those kids with influential parent from elite branded school will be able to do this. Those neighborhood school no chance. What kind of lesson is the minister trying to teach here.

He's obviously joking! He knows that TS will never agree to any such thing. He has just overlooked the fact that jokes on social media tend to fall flat.

While some may think, kids in neighbourhood schools are more creative and savvy when comes to things matter more to them like TS concert. Many are bright and street smart. You will be surprised.
Some parents think our M is quite witty and savvy and trendy too.. Lol

I'm just surprised as I have always thought Taylor Swift is for old folks like me 🙂 Never knew she will be so impactful for kids these days.
