A free O-Level study library I built for my own kids (first 50 students, honest feedback wanted)
-
Hi, I’m a Singapore parent of two. Tuition across PSLE, O-Level and A-Level costs more than I like to think about, so instead of paying for all of it, I built something.
It’s called Distinction. Right now it covers the O-Level subjects my kids need: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, E-Maths, A-Maths and English. Each topic is explained in plain words, with audio you can rewind, notes you can actually read, and the working shown step by step.
I work in tech with AI, and I’ve used those skills to build it, so yes, it is made with AI. AI also gets plenty wrong, which is exactly why everything is checked against the official Singapore syllabus and reviewed by a person before it goes up. There’s so little transparency around AI right now that I would rather tell you that up front than have you wonder.
I’m opening it free to the first 50 students, until the November exams. No card, nothing to pay. In return I would love honest feedback: does it cover the syllabus, is it easy to use, is it pitched right. And in January, if you’re willing, I would love to hear how your child got on. That is the real reason I am doing this: I want to know whether any of it actually helped.
If your child is sitting O-Levels this year, the link is start.distinction.study, and I’m happy to answer anything here.
One more thing for the PSLE parents: I’m building a PSLE version too, free for the rest of this year. The material is ready, I’m just finishing the review before it goes up. Happy to let you know when it’s live.
Thanks for reading!
