        Leapfrog? Are you talking about the Leap Pads? Plenty in http://www.toysrus.com.sg/toysrus/specialoffer/jsp/newSGListProduct.jsp?category=SG-UOI-lets_learn#.

        But for a much bigger variety of reading material, check out the iPEN in Popular bookstore. The device costs about $60. It looks like a fat pen, but is well supported by a huge variety of Robin books, and suitable for kids all the way to Primary school. It's really cool to be able to point at what seemingly to be an ordinary book and have the pen read back to you! Point at the pictures and there are related sounds. Very much like the PC multimedia titles except there is much more real. Too bad there is ZERO online literature on the device.

        I'll do a review of that when I have more time.

          Thanks...the ipen sounds interesting...seems quite suitable for my elder boy. is the Robin books costly?

          Leapfrog dvds i mean <a href=\"http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fs%3Fie%3DUTF8%26search-type%3Dss%26tag%3Dmycroft-20%26index%3Dstripbooks%26link%255Fcode%3Dqs%26field-keywords%3Dleapfrog%2520the%2520letter%2520factory%26sourceid%3DMozilla-search&tag=kiaspare-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=390957%22%3Ehttp://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&search-type=ss&tag=mycroft-20&index=stripbooks&link%5Fcode=qs&field-keywords=leapfrog%20the%20letter%20factory&sourceid=Mozilla-search%3C/a>

            I see. Didn't see those DVDs in my trips to Toysrus... must be something new.

            The Robin books comes in packs of 5 or 6 for about $25. They also sell it in loose format for like $8 per book, but that would be without the supporting CDROM.

              If I remember correctly, the Robin book sells for around $4 now in popular. Without the iPen, it is just like any other children book.

                Bought the Leapfrog 5pc DVD set from Amazon.

                While ‘The Letter Factory’ and ‘Talking Words Factory’ is good for toddlers, the rest in the pack is more suitable for preschoolers. I find the ‘Math Circus’ the most disappointing of the lot.

                    Those are the videos that both my children started with since they were born! They are very good and captivating. My son benefited a lot from them... was able to recite the alphabet and numbers by the time he was 1.

                      TIA.
                      This is one of the first video I showed to my kids. I like it that it counts from 1 to 20. Good for kids from age 18 months. However the animation is very old fashioned. So if your kids are used to those new ones like Little Einstein etc, they will not like Richard scarry.

                      I highly recommend Leapfrog Talking words factory, it is the best video for learning phonics sounds. Don't need to send kids to expensive classes 😛 My kids have been watching the 5 Leapfrog DVDs for almost 2 years. Very good investment.

                      Now my kids are crazy over Little Einstein.

                      <a href=\"http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000LSAIZ8?ie=UTF8&tag=kiaspare-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B000LSAIZ8%22%3Ehttp://www.amazon.com/Disneys-Little-Einsteins-Legend-Pyramid/dp/B000LSAIZ8/ref=pd_bbs_sr_3?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1213325799&sr=8-3%3C/a>

                      I bought 2 DVDs locally. Then bought 4 more in the Little Einsteins series from amazon. They teach a piece of classical music, introducing the composer's name, important landmarks in the world like the leaning tower of Pisa, Great wall of China, the Pyraminds of Egypt, etc, art, and even some musical notations (allegro, adagio,diminuendo, etc). Very educational.

                      Fortunately I show my kids Leapfrog for 2 years before showing them Little Einstein, otherwise they will not be interested in Leapfrog.
