balance places from phase 2A2 are splitted 50:50 between phase 2B & phase 2C. Any unallocated places from phase 2B will roll into phase 2C.
this is to ensure that there will be places available for phase 2C. -

The 110 balance vacancies are then divided equally between Phase 2B and 2C. So there will also be 55 places for Phase 2C, or more if there is any spill over from Phase 2B

Hi, I'd like to know for Phase 2C will the school tell us if there is balloting conducted, how many applicants there are versus number of places?
Also, it seems like Xinghua Pri not a popular school but when I checked kiasuparents ranking by academic excellence, they are ranked (compared to many other schools not ranked at all). Does anybody know anything about Xinghua? Is it an OK school or is there anything I should be worried about? I might have to send my child there if balloting 'suay' cannot get a place. Thank you!

It is quite difficult for staff to be 100% certain whether any applicant needs to ballot or for that matter, has a chance to ballot, until the registration is closed. Of course with the exception when balloting is confirmed required for within 1 km.
The registration staff will display & update periodically, the breakdown of applicants by distance. -

The ranking is done by our fellow forummers like yourself. Schools which are not ranked does not mean they are not good. It just means that none of our forummers have ranked them...

RRMummy:
Actually, the KiasuParents.com Ranking by Academic Excellence is a statistical measure that is obtained purely by looking at the consistency of schools producing students who achieve a score of 275 or more for PSLE. It does not take into account the number or quality of passes at PSLE because that information is just not available for all schools.kancheongmama:

Even if a school is ranked, if the score is 2 or less, we can probably discount that rank because it could be an anomaly. Read the description at the top of the rankings for more information. -
