My DS1 is in Learning Bliss. We find the teachers very caring.
They go through the homework daily & test the kids on their spelling & ting xie weekly. 1 less headache for me. They also provide & go thru assessment books (covered in the $$).
As my son is in NYPS, they do help to 'send' him to enrichment/CCA after lunch & 'let him in' after enrichment/CCA. They go by a back gate, so no need to cross roads.

This is one of the \"value-add\" of NYPS, allowing Learning Bliss to make use of extra space to do after school care for those parents who need it for their NYPS kids. I understand other schools' kids are accepted too -
Good! One less worry for me!
Just that there is no nap timeβ¦think my DS will be tired out at the end of the dayβ¦ -
BTW, just to extend KS mentality...is it that popular that there is a waiting list???

Hi Voovoo, I understand they only take about 30+ students per class. The kids are split into their various levels - P1, P2, etc. Each class have their own rooms & teachers. P1 has 2 teachers & is located in the main office area (with glass windows) so that the admin can help to watch out as well.
There are students from other schools as well - RPGS, ACS, CHS. An advantage is the teacher will sometimes use the tests from the other schools to go thru with all the kids.
The kids will get used to not having afternoon naps after a while.
Too much to do, chat, play. -

since you are going to stay within 1km of the school, might as well do it now, right ? EVEN IF (touch wood) you kena balloted out of Phase 2B next year, you can still use the BASC at Nanyang, and hopefully the principal will give you compassionate points and make a transfer when a vacancy arises ?
you have two opportunities : Phase2B within 1 km and phase 2C within 1 km -
good idea...need one anyway...
see if they respond to my email... -
Called them. Registration starts in August every year
So for P1 next year, register this year in Aug.
