      Hi mummies,

Dunno what the Admin Day is for, but it may be good to have one day to do pure admin and half a day to do orientation (ie getting to know the school well). It will be very rushed if we do everything in the same morning on Orientation Day.

Maple leaf - where do you stay? I was told that the school's school buses cover quite a good range of venues. We are more than 2km from the school (it takes <10min by car, if there is no jam), but I think school bus-wise will definitely take longer. Would have preferred an pm session if there is one; my boy is certainly no early riser! We'll have to wake up earlier than him to get him ready! 😓

          Hi,Huaywen,

I lived near the Holland area. How about you?

Haha, ya you are right, we will have to wake up earlier. So I ws trying ti persuade DH to send DS to school at 7am instead of the schoolbis which probably pick up an hour earlier. He is reluctant But I tell him he will stll got to wake up earlier since DS will sure wake everyone up. That wil be worse. DH still not convinced. 😢

I just wish school start at 9am.

I'm at upper bukit timah area (behind rail mall). DH says he will send DS to school in morning, and then DS takes the school bus back. Not too sure if this idea will work - it really depends on what time the school bus comes to pick him in the morning. I calculated, hopefully it would be something reasonable like 6.45am (there is 1 bus leaving from Cashew area at 6.30am). Will find out more details during Admin or Orientation Day.

A group of BTPS students will be appearing in tomorrow’s episode of ‘The Perfect Meal’ as judges at 9.30pm on Channel News Asia. DS is one of them. Do tune in to support.

My slot was 1030-1230, but hubby went instead as I was overseas (I still am!). He was complaining to me about how expensive everything was… books, bus, uniforms etc!

What class is your child in? Mine is in P1 Resilience.

Thought the classes used to be called Peace, Joy, etc?

DS is in P1 Adaptability class. Guess the classes now are not based on ability tests as in previous years.

BTW, his schpplbus pickup time is around 6:30am. npt tjat early as I tjhought..Phew 😄
