      phantom:
Those copter looks fun to get for kid, especially those tiny copter that can fly indoor. Anyone has those? How is it, how long does the battery last?

I think I would be more worried about how long the toy will last given all the falls from 3 storey heights.

Books - we should buy the kids books for Christmas.

Talking about books, I have bought a whole set of books from Grolier http://www.grobooks.com/ for my kid that cost me a whole good $2000. So I suppose I am not getting anymore such books for a long time. Hard to decide on what present to get. Probably just some train set or anything that is not too expensive, my kid already has 2 huge boxes of toys.

I have always wondered if anyone would actually fork out thousands of bucks for kids' books in this age of the Internet. Now I know there are still plenty of people who would do that. Thank God for Kiasuparents.com 😄

PS. Let me know if you are going to sell that set.

What kind of books are they…that it could command a hefty price tag of 2k?

Occasionally you will see those sales people have a booth at the shopping mall selling the Grolier books. They have a variety of books with disney characters, some mini encyclopedia, some story, pictorial than they will have people to come to your house to teach you how to use them.

They show me a bunch of receipts of people who bough those books, and boy, that’s a lot. So Singapore parents are really willing to spend on child.

                    Dear Dragon ball,

Just wondering did your children like Grolier books? Do you find its books real useful?

Is it too early to introduce i wonder why for 3 years old kid?
