Distinction in HCL is 3 marks
Merit in HCL is 2 marks
Pass in HCL is 1 mark.
I don't know if the top scorer in NYPS got distinction in HCL. I got to ask my friend lah.

PSLE is just the beginning. After coming out to work realize there there are many highly qualified and capable people who do not come for the good secondary schools. Important thing is to continue working hard and learning. Jia Yu!My son score 230 and he is very sad, crying now. I told him not to give up and work harder next time.
Not sure which school to choose for him.
