My friend paid $770 for half a day for Lorna Whiston. Pat's is $890 for half a day. St James is $260 for 3 hours. Maris Stella is $130 a month. Maris Stella I was told the kids don't learn much.

yup. It sure is. That's why its not easy being a kiasu parent. But I was told that Pat's is good for things like music and art, not necessarily academic. Some kids who have gone there reached p1 and still couldn't read.

I think Lorna Whiston is better.

Try Kinderland. It is better value for money.

Yup.. Being Kiasu parents is not easy afterall. My pocket will definitely burnt a BIG hole. I am giving my bb attending enrichment courses and they are not cheap. If coupled with this pre-school.. it will cost a BOMB.

Haa.. alternatively i am thinking of YWCA.. Heard its nt bad, and they have alot of different enrichment courses

                hi.

Where is ur gal attending classes nw?

I am letting my bb attending Shichida and GUG as well. I am thinking of letting her attend some music lesson too if i have the time.

Need to let her attend pre-school that early is becos my mum cant cope to take care of so many kids, plus i think its good to let her have the exposure. But i also aware that it will also mean "illness-prone" too **haiz

                  What's GUG?

My gal is at Faith montessori now and that is $575 a month for half a day. She also attends Phonics at CS Montessori which costs me another $140 a month.

Yesterday, found this place called Edufarm which is super cheap for phonics. It's $145 a term??? You may want to check this place out for their playgroup.

Gosh. You sure are spending on your child when she is still so young. When my gal was in nursery, sent her only to church kindergarten la. No Schishida and all..........

Its growing up gifted, learning phonics. Sometimes i wonder if its a waste of money. .Cos she doesnt seem to understand… Well, wat happen is i am teaching her ABCs… and GUG is teaching phonics… so that might be clash.

She knws hw to say ABC but nt phonics.

                    Where is faith montessori?

They are located in Hillview, Dunearn Rd and Holland Rd. Curriculum quite good. Blend the Montessori and MOE curriculum together. But I heard it is better for Kindergarten than nursery.

My colleague who sends the son to GUG said it is good.

Oh… maybe i can consider that too cos its near to my mum’s house. The impt thing is to lessen my mum’s "workload"… so that she dun need to take care of so many kids
