I think it depends on the individual teachers.

For Chinese, ds used up all his Chinese exercise books and needed to
more for practice writing and surprise tingxie etc. His Chinese teacher also use the word cards extensively thru out the year too.

I saw a parent exchanging exercise books with the bookshop uncle with no questions asked. So, probably it is common.

Thks Yerdua, will try asking the bookshop when drop by to buy next year books.

When will we received the new time table for year 2011? My boss DS is w LianHua n school had distribute the time table together with textbook list.

He also mention there Parent-Teacher Meeting was in the hall for all in the same level. The school show parent what they had taught in the year. That is interest.

New time table will only be received next year, usually during the first few days of school.

Parents-Teachers meeting only held during the 1st quarter, just before the 1 week break in March and after CA1.

I am new here, my son will be in Juying next year P1. Just attended the Orientation on Monday 22/11/2010, bought all the books & stationery stated. Should have joined earlier…Any comments regards to the school,

Do you know the form teacher name? My DS in P1A this year, his FT was very nice. She teaches all suject except MT. MT sir is just so-so lah.

2 sets sure enough. On PE day, student wear PE T-shirt thought. DS timetable is 2 days uniform and 3 days PE T-shirt. For standby (just in case of bad weather), we bought 1 extra set uniform (1 size up) and 1 pair of shoe (half size up). Still new as it was really "standby" loh.
