I was hoping that the locker can be available asap, so dd can put both dic in the locker, dun have to bring home. I have another chinese dic and also english dic at home, trying not to spend on e-dic.

      Seems like all Y1 paid $15 and Y2 and Y3 paid $10.
dd refused to let me help her with her heavy load today, insisted on carrying it herself ,even though she was half bent over. Reason: paiseh

Why don’t you all get a luggage type bag with wheels? I am not sure, I’ll imagine is much more manageable.

In the mean time, maybe can ask your dd to share locker with her classmates, at least for the dictionaries.

Haha they wont. :P[/quote]Why huh? last time army boys also don't carry such bag, but now they do, so I am wondering school kids also change. Rv students are quite innovative minded...I think their classmates won't laugh. 😄

RV wants to produce leaders...leaders must lead courageously, lead by action and example.

She's worried they may be absent the next day or forget to bring key.

yesterday, ds had to do an english hw. the instruction said, \" use the longman dictionary....\" and he left the dict in his locker! he said he would try to finish that piece of hw in school today so that he would not need to bring the dict home today...

looks like i really need to get him another dict to put at home 😞 i thought he can use the online dict to check but seems like the teacher really wants them to use the traditional dict....

Hi octopusmum, u can get another dic to put at home. After all, your 2 younger ones will need to use too! Sometimes, they’re not given enough time to do in class, unless he stays back after sch, otherwise, got to bring home to do, no choice.
