Hi! My gal just enrolled to Beacon this yr. The form teacher is quite young and i believed she is very new probably 1st time teaching.


Anyone got problems with the MT homework? My gal was given 5 pages of HanYu PinYin to do but it wasn’t marked by the MT teacher at after spending 3hrs to complete it. There are no indications or communications when the homework supposed to handover.

Don’t tell me they expect a P1 student to complete 5 pages of homework n handover the next day? Now she received another 2 pages of HanYu PinYin but i told her not to do it until I managed to talk to her MT teacher.

I don't think that teacher expected your girl to submit the next day. I believe each pupil has a diary from school maybe you can write on it and get your girl to show to her MT teacher that's what I normally do. If still no news then you can try to email her.

My gal was also ask to write so many pages of the HYPY and was not mark. I find that her dairy only indicate homework for English & Maths. What class is ur gal in? Mine in 1/5 but heard she combine with 1/8 for MT lesson

The communication book is only for English and Maths not for MT. They are attending different classes for MT so the form teacher does not really know what is going on for MT.

Hi I just wanted to find out if the swimming and wushu lessons in Beacon are compulsory on tue? Because my son has enrichment classes on tue and the centre only have this slot. Thanks in advance.

My son is in Pri 1 Beacon Primary this year…Hope to find out will he have any tests or exams , CAs or SAs this year. ? If no, how is he be assessed academically?

Swimming is compulsory and for 7 lessons. Wushu will be part of the Tue lesson hence you may not be affected.
