[Marine Parade] Primary Schools

Hellokitty2:
Thanks qms, anyway. too bad I dont have a third child if not I will know what to do next time, sign up for PV when he is 3!
No worries!
However, do take note that, based on this year's registration, there was balloting in Ngee Ann Pri. for those staying 1-2 km from the school during Phase 2C.
Since you will be in P2C, you might like to register your second child in TKPS in P1 next year, and monitor the take-up rate in Ngee Ann before you make your final decision.
As a rule of thumb, you apply for PV when your child is 4 years old, perform PV work when your child is 5 years old and register your child for P1 when he is 6 years old. There are exceptions to this rule, too (e.g. Nanyang Pri.). Even though you are late for your second child, you can still advise your friends, right?
Tell them that you learned this through this forum, too!
What could be better than word-of-mouth publicity? :dancing: :imcool:
With more publicity comes more recognition. Who knows, KSP.com will be able to offer more to parents in future with heightened recognition from more people. :celebrate: -
Yes, I think I will register the younger at TKPS first, sigh, but really KSP is the very helpful, thanks for your generous help qms, I will try my best
to introduce my kakis to this forum but actually many of them are already here

Hi I am new to the forum and was reading this thread wondering why CHIJ Katong Primary (opposite TNS) is not listed as one of the schools under marine Parade?

AA Daddy:
not many, if any at all, parents would have children in both schools to do a fair comparison.
Thanks but that thread did not really compare Tao Nan and Ngee Ann...
