However, do take note that, based on this year's registration, there was balloting in Ngee Ann Pri. for those staying 1-2 km from the school during Phase 2C.

Since you will be in P2C, you might like to register your second child in TKPS in P1 next year, and monitor the take-up rate in Ngee Ann before you make your final decision.

As a rule of thumb, you apply for PV when your child is 4 years old, perform PV work when your child is 5 years old and register your child for P1 when he is 6 years old. There are exceptions to this rule, too (e.g. Nanyang Pri.). Even though you are late for your second child, you can still advise your friends, right? Tell them that you learned this through this forum, too!

i wonder if NAPS ever called for PV cos i did submit the PV application form but never heard from them. was the applications for phase 2B mostly grassroot leaders?

not many, if any at all, parents would have children in both schools to do a fair comparison.
