Homeworks during CNY period? u mean for the P3 or P1? my son don have much homework when he was in P1 and also no homework during CNY. :?

We went back to M'sia last Monday and my boy really enjoy his long holiday till yesterday. Surprisingly he was willing to do the “additional homework” when I ask him to do so. I think all of us must have a break, this is really true.

Hi! My boy (P2) is asking whether i can let him join CCA, i just checked with the van driver and understand that the children who join CCA can take the transport back after CCA by top up $10. How come in previous posts, some mummy said no transport after CCA? :? can clarify?

My understanding is those children who needs to attend supplementary classes (Pri3 onwards, twice a week), transportation will be arranged with an extra top up of $10. And 2 of my gfs complaint about no transportation for those other CCAs. Perhaps, other mommies can share if this is the case.

I know the bus driver for my route doesn’t have becoz not enuf no. of students to fetch.

I think there are 5 different transport companies in DLS. I believe the $10 is offered by one of the transport companies that have like 4 or 5 buses that fech kids to school everyday. I think they have one bus that picks students up at 3+ pm and another one that picks students at 5 pm. I am not sure if they would pick students from the other bus companies. Hope the information helps.

For those taking the shuttle bus between CCK and Teck Y, you can pay extra $10 and your kids can take the bus after CCA. If your kids are taking other school buses, it will depend on that transport company.

                  Hi all

                  Need some info regarding CCA.
currently my dd is in P2 and she is not taking any CCA due to transportation issues. Heard thru my DD they will be having swimming classes next term. Is swimming considered as a CCA?

                    Hi Ramya

The swimming classes for P2 are not considered as CCA. There are only 12 lessons. But if your daughter wants to continue after the 12 lessons, she can join as CCA.

My girl is also in P2, didn't join CCA due to transportation issue. Waiting for the school to provide the swimming class schedule before solving the transporation matter.

I just called to DLS office and being told that P1 to P6 students need not go to school on 7 March. The P1 and P2 teachers will inform the parents regarding the meeting date in a separate notification.
