My boys get cold too. The life racer thermal doesnโ€™t help! Maybe Iโ€™ll try hot Milo next time.

Ok thanks, will try it out

Even in heated pools babies can get cold quite quickly, so the soft neoprene fabric that fits snugly around baby's body creates a warm, loving hug. It makes them feel safe and secure, and most importantly, keeps them warm. It's easier for parents too as the fabric ensures you keep a firm grip on your baby.

6 and 3. But I suspect the pool is extra cold. It's always shaded and very windy. It's so hard to convince DS1 to get in the pool coz he gets cold. I wish I knew what to do!

Yes I think so too! For me I think it's the timing, 6pm is abit late. I wished I can change to another earlier timing, but it's hard to find a good coach.

Just to share what my kids' swimming coach used to advise me on the life racer thermal. He said when buy the thermal, buy the exact size. If you buy slightly bigger, it will not be so fitting, thus the effects will not be so good. Normally for us parents, we will tend to buy bigger size for our kids cos they outgrow very fast, but for the life racer thermal, it is supposed to be fitting, so if too big, water can easily go in and it will makes them feel cold.

DS1 is tall and skinny, so even though the suit fits length-wise (in fact, it's a bit short), it is a bit loose around the body. maybe that's why DS1 is so cold. But DS2's suit is very fitting. i even have to squeeze DS2 into his suit as he is a bit tubby. But he's still cold!

Yes, dear mums, pls get a snug fit thermal for yr kids n not loose fitting. Tis is to prevent water frm entering easily. Snug fit water trap in d neoprene, the body shld warm it thus will kep u less cold. Mums explain to thm cos they will complt its tight n uncomfortable.

Normaly d sleeves material r softs thin so they wnt obst movemnt ๐Ÿ™‚
2 of d coldest pool i dislike r jurong n sengkang, freezng cold. Actualy 6pm is not a bad time to swim n infact i find tis time d temp of d water is jus nice for most pool provide there was nno rain or no sun earlier
