I am also considering transferring my son to MFS @ Bishan St 13 once it is open. I am attracted by the sch fees! It is 50% cheaper than the current sch.

But there is a risk that it will be a bunch of new teachers and principal. not sure how 'devoted' they are until we are in it.

For existing parents, issit true that there a handful of YOUNG teachers?

And do they have take-home material at the end of one month to update parents what has been taught?

Any parents has kid tat is now @ K2 level. Do u think ur kid is prep enuff for Pr1? πŸ˜›
i suggest u go to the branch and ask about the syllabus and clear any doubts. young teacher for kindergarten is not always bad thing, they are more lively and full of energy, i have seen some older teacher in my DD's school they always look tired and sitting down on chair compare to the younger teachers who is always chirpy, walking around and entertaining the young ones.

the only problem with MFS is they do not have any admin in the school. whenever we call up the school, it goes to the HQ, therefore, there will be times that information or important message is not transfer to the teacher. So it will be best to speak to the teacher, everytime we pick up our children.

hopefully my feedback is useful πŸ˜„
they only implement to call centre this year, it used to be able to call direct to the school . i find this part inconvenient too in the beginning but after few round of calling, they sort of know and will route faster and pass the message efficiently. in the beginning i was so impatient as they always ask too much questions, in which i prefer to talk directly to the teacher as they know wat im talking abt..

maybe we can continue to feedback on this part πŸ™‚

I have enrolled my DD in additional enrichment classes in MFS, Apple Pie, which is a Chinese class. It is more on Story telling, sing songs and dancing. My DD is enjoying herself and keep asking me when is the next lesson. BTW, she is in Nursery.

I guess if they implement this approach, our kids would enjoy themselves πŸ˜„

yes, DS loves both his english and chinese enrichment class and always heard him mention their names.
it might also be the time the enrichment class teachers had with him is shorter as compared to his normal class teachers

May I know which english class u enrolled for ur DS? I am intending to withdraw her from the Science Alive, there is ESI (English) which is still pending for more students to enroll before they can open the class.
