How's the teachers at Tampines Blk 487C?

My HB went to check and brou back their weekly schedule and I'm kinda shocked tat they're teaching different parts of our body to the K1 now. I rem my gal learned tat when she's in N during her stay in CH. Their syllb really very slow. Is it enough for the kids to prepare for primary school?

My DD is there in Nursery. What kind of body parts u are referring to? Head, shoulder, knees etc or more complicated ones like Kidney, lung, brain etc...

I dont think my DD was taught of the kidney and lung as body parts yet. I just received from the teacher, she is teaching different types of Story book per month. They just finished Greedy Giant whereby they teach the kids proper table manner.

Maybe you would like to ask the teacher the teaching schedule of each term? I think they are suppose to come out the schedule for the Principle?

i dun thk in kindergarten level, they will learn lungs/liver etc? anyway, my dd also told me abt greedy giant weeks ago..haaa..

my DD came back on Friday telling me "Mummy, Happy Mother’s Day" and gave me a card that her teacher and her created together, with her hand print, and finger prints to create pattern. last year they created flower with their hand print(cut out and form flower) with straw as the stem. very creative.

well, some schools also have the same topic like the recent mother's day DS learns the Jay Chou song, listen to mother's words, which my cousin's DS also learn in another childcare (not MFS) esp they are under the same NTUC, shld have the same topic right?

as long as they are decent topic, i dnt mind.
Ya, my DD also knows the Jay Chou's song for Mother's day. Then I showed her the MTV from the FB and she sings the chorus and swing to the beat too.

She did the card with her thumb to outline the heart shape and use the index finger to colour the inner area.

Seems like no reviews on my first Skool Toa Payoh, my girl in IFC now, dunno change school or just move up to playgroup. Seems like no one comment if the curriculum or teachers are good… Sigh

Have you personally visited the center?

I feel that there are too many children enrolled = very chaotic.
Have you considered the newly set up sparkletots at blk 146?
I’m not too sure but have a better feeling about it.
                        Fewer kids and more open.
My first skool is quite "exclusive" the one above NTUC (if that’s the one you’re toking about) can’t see what’s going on.
