Hi there, my DD1 is also in P1 this year.

CKS, there’s SA1 and SA2 for RGPS. Not for the fainthearted :!: but am glad there are parents who can provide guidance here on KSP.com.

My girl will be starting P1 next year at RGPS.

My niece is in P5 there. She is doing well but I look at all her exam questions I stress for my girl.

Think most of the time, it’s the parents who are more stressed than the kids, LOL…

EN, with a pretty naughty girl at P4. No CA for them but the project work, homework and everything is a killer. Topical test instead of CAs.

On a very friendly term with teachers by now. Teacher often call me up for my dd missing homework. Just dont ask what's my dd class is 😓 . It's a secret.

You think that's bad? My P4 boy lost his parents-teacher booklet :stupid:

Aiyoh, can't teach carefulness right? Just have to keep reminding them to check that they have ALL their stuff with them when they go home...

My DD1 fierce at home, timid in school so I exchanged email with Math teacher...bought her a replacement AB to keep up to date with homework (or else how? Get mountain of delayed worksheet?). Didn't scold her much about losing it (I'm not even sure it's her fault yah? Coz she remembered handling it up, and then helping her friend with her work when she finished it in class). Just had to get her to update me ASAP so that we can work it out early. (Gained a friend!) 😉

Her having to re-do preceding exercises (I think about 60 pages worth) is punishment enough liao! 😎

Andiaz, my dd is exactly the same! Fierce and loud at home, but timid and quiet as a mouse in school, LOL...

Btw is ur dd's teacher using the Maths textbook? My dd told me her teacher told them that is not necessary and asked them to keep the 1B textbook at home. Wasted my money buying it man!

She still brings it along anyway. That's not so bad...their STELLAR programme for English? They don't even use the book anymore...finished THE MAGIC FINGER in like 2 weeks into T1.
