Hi,
I am new to this method.
Can someone advice me, can i conduct my flash card by PC/Laptop?
Is this method equal to physical holding a paper and flash it??
Thanks.
regards, -
I guess the physical holding a paper method is more tried and tested.
Personally, I encounter more difficulties flashing on PC especially in between topics. While I can easily flash about more than 10 sets of cards using the physical method, usually I don’t get pass 5 sets using the computer.
And for the weeks I am flashing on PC, my boy seems to deteriorate in his Shichida class right brain activites. Not too sure if it is because the PC and flash cards difference or because I am flashing less than usual.
However. I find the PC great for Foreign languages and Music related topics. Can play sound files for words I cant pronounce. And can play musical instrument. -

Nowadays PC and TVs not using cathode ray tubes... all flat screen and LCD some more with very high refresh rates. I don't think they are the main cause of bad eyesight. -

Thank you so much for posting these videos. I just finished watching all of them. Very very good !
I do not use flash cards on my kids. Now I know I am doing the right thing
The point about our kids being the \"Google generation\" is so true. We can find information within seconds on the internet by using Google. So what is the use of memorizing facts through flash cards, etc ? -

Umm... to win game shows like \"Don't forget the lyrics\" ? -
Hmm... just finished watching it... wasn't long before I realized it is a marketing pitch for MindChamps Pre-school :? .

that lady who is speaking is one of the writers of the book http://www.amazon.com/Einstein-Never-Used-Flash-Cards/dp/1579546951
Still listeninig to it... think ...it is more than flash cards she is talking about. She is basically refering to all the \"educational\" toys and products including the brainy baby DVDs, electronic devices that focus on academic learning.
Her point is children should have time for unstrucured play and focus should be on learning social skillls and EQ instead of academics.
There is an great article that look at her research, GD method and other scientific research related with accelerated learning:
