Here is my plan, for Phase 2C. Though we live <1KM>2KM), and the 2nd choice would be ST Antony's Canossian (< 2 KM).
We intend to go on Fri at about 3.30pm, to register, thus ensuring our chance in CHIJ. Wish me success...
Thank you chief, for all the input you have given us, opps also :thankyou: to the rest of the team. -

Sure, mum03... good luck for your plans... though we can't really see what they are because of the system snipping of your post! Try not to use the angle brackets (less than/greater than signs). The system will try to interprete text inside the brackets and throw them away if it doesn't understand. Here is my plan, for Phase 2C. Oopps I forgot about that, it should be:
Though we live less then 1Km away from St Hildas, it was never our choice for our DD, Thus we are planning for CHIJ katong more then 2 KM and the 2nd choice is St Antonyโs Canossian 1-2 Km away.
Now it make sense HEHEeeeeeee -

Tampines Primary School is the seed school of Confucius Institute. I happened to attend their new book launch of ๅๅญๅญฆๅ on 25/7/09 by chance, while waiting for my daughter when she attended her class at Confucius Institute. Very impressed by the talk given by the principle. Holistic education, moral education guided by ๅๅฎถๆๆณ, and character development is the main focus of the school. Intend to do PV for the school to know the school better. Very likely TPS meets the criteria of my dream school
Red Swastika has a much better academic record than either Gongshang and Chongzheng. All 3 are very popular schools and require balloting under Phase 2C.mamachris:
Hi Chief,
You mentioned Red Swastika as a pretty good school. It is betty than Zhongshan or Chongzheng?
Btw, anyone has comments about Tampines Primary School? I know this school has a lot of interesting initiatives but not so sure about how good the school is.
Tampines Primary is a small school and not as popular amongst Tampines residents. It did manage to produce a top 10 PSLE student in 2006, though. The question is whether that is a fluke or if the school has really got the processes to continue doing so.

Have a call up to Gong Shang and Poi ching, the result is as follow,
- Gongshang - Phase 2 C confirmed Balloting for >1km 87 vs 64
- Poi Ching - current applicants is 97 vs 101 seats for Phase 2 C
Any advise? Shall I still join in the ballot for Gonshang? Or go for Poi ching? Must we be present during the balloting? If not how will we be informed whether we get won or lost? Thanks -

Hi xomaru,
