Good luck, Lahburlug. Hope yr gal get into Jurong PriHi all,
Had been monitoring Jurong Pri School for the 2C registration for my girl and was surprise to see that the number of applicants already more than 100% on the 1st day!!!
Will have to check with the school tomorrow on the breakdown of the applicants since I'm locating 1-2km away..
Guess I'll have to keep my fingers crossed......... til end of tomorrow to decide.....
Now the question if the outcome is negative: YuHua or FuHua............... haiz....................

Hi all,
Update: Called up Jurong Pri school this morning (very pleasant and friendly staff) for breakdown:
Per morning, 80 applied within 1km, 35 within 1 to 2km, 7 outside 2km (no chance liao)..... Total available seats: 107.
Well.... seemed tough even for balloting for the 1 to 2km!!!!!!! The number will sure to rise.....
Called up Princess Elizabeth also, but they do not provide such Value Added service to do a pre-count for the breakdown... too bad.....

if u are within 1km of Princess E, u might as well try as its better odds against the 1~2km of JPSHi all,

Hi FMz,
Agreed. However, the fact is, I'm located 1 to 2km for both the schools..... too bad....haiz...........
This makes me left with not much choice and to hope that the the number of <1km does not filled up the vacancy of 107 for JPS by tomorrow............... -
ooo… sound like u are staying nearer to Jurong East Central/Toh Tuck

Hi FMz,
Yes indeed you're right.
Know what, the next option that I have will be either Fuhua or Yuhua if JPS is out in my list....
Have asked around others in this forum on Yuhua Pri school but so far seemed that no one knows much about this school.
Well............................

which school we select is her choice.
For us the kid has to be happy so might as well get her to choose. Academic thingy is secondary & depend a lot on the kids itself.
Both of us are from neighbourhood school too
Im from JPS by the way

FMz, provided ur kids select a school that is 'reachable', hee... My dd wanted to go to NHPS (her best fren going there) and HPPS (her cousins there) and we had no choice but to reject her as we do not stay within 1km of either school. Even if we move house, we would still need to ballothave u try asking ur kids?
