Maozai:
Congrats, Maozai! Now go to the http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4393 to start it up alreadyHello all, I registered my girl at CHIJ Kellock yesterday. Luckily I'm on the 2km dot and thus no balloting required.
My second child is a boy.. so I need to do more than just wait for PH2C if I want him to go RMPS.
Good luck to all who are awaiting balloting results!

I maybe planning to send my No 2 to CHIJ (Kellock) next time. May I know how is the chance to get in at Phase 2C where my distance is 1-2 Km range?
I don't mind performing PV provided CHIJ (Kellock) do have this PV. Every year only have 200 places which is generally quite low compare to other pri schools in our Bt Merah area. :?: -
hi
i was actually at st margs (i’m >2km) at 3pm to check out the no. however, the indian admin lady was so unfriendly as she refuse to give any figure since the day before (i was there also). std answer - dunno, hence no breakdown
was told 50% was >2km but only 11 places remaining aft am session. left at 3.30pm cos sure 2 hv ballot.
hv been monitoring chij as well as i’m <2km>2km hence rushed down 2 chij n reached here at 4.10pm. managed to reg at 4.30pm… there’s 1 more queuing behind me
think there will b balloting of 8 places out of 17 reg for >2km
crossing my fingers… -
titank:
saw from some thread before that chij only hv pv aft child is in. there's no pv prior to that

Wow do not have any PV with CHIJ (Kellock)? Like that have to register at Phase 1 Radin Mas Pri 1st. When at Phase 2C withdraw from Radin Mas & apply CHIJ (Kellock).
Has anyone does that (Withdrawal & Insertion) at the last 15 minutes before the end of Phase 2C at 4.30pm? I know sure stress where Phase 2C registration is almost like battle field, fish market. If really sway sway may in the end 2 places also gone then have to join in Phase 2C Supplementary.
Ha.ha sure many parents would thank me if I withdrawal 1 places out from RMPS in Phase 1. -
When I registered on Friday morning, the lady at CHIJ Kellock told me if we do not receive phone calls after 4.30pm on Friday, it’ll mean we do not have to go through balloting. Shizta, you did not receive any phone call right? So I guess we are safe. As of that morning, there were about 10 applicants from the >2km range. Not sure if any of them withdraw last min… if they did not, that means around 10 pple vying for the remaining 2 vacancies for the >2km.
Titank, if base on this year standard, your gal should be able to get into CHIJ Kellock. However, like you say, better be kiasu and get her to PH1 at RMPS first. How old is your daughter? -

Ha.ha 2 years later then have to register in P1 Registration. I think should be pretty safe for 1Km & 1-2Km in Phase 2C. Well think register in Phase 1 with RMPS & adopt monitor at CHIJ (Kellock). When I registered on Friday morning, the lady at CHIJ Kellock told me if we do not receive phone calls after 4.30pm on Friday, it'll mean we do not have to go through balloting. Precisely the same issue with me this year. I had a kid at ZDPS, so my daughter has got a place in Phase 1. But I was quite open to have her enrolled in CHIJ Kellock as I find ZDPS so so.
Hi titank,
I'm having the same issue - shd my no. 2 follow my no. 1 or shd I enrol her into CHIJ? Headache all over again...
Unfortunately, we are just beyond 2km and when I called up and found out that places had already been exceeded, I decided to stay put rather than take a risk. Logistically, I guess it is easier for me to have my two kids in ZDPS although they will be in different sessions.
So, there are many issues you need to consider the next time round when your child registers for P1.
