      Hi Maple leaf,

Your boy never prepared for his test, spellings n tingxie ???
Wow....he must be good, can do well even without preparations.

Same here, my boy will continue to play and watch tv after sch. Very reluctant and always give excuses when come to do homework. There were twice that he suddenly got up of his bed in the night after realising that he did not do homework!!!!!
      Hi,preciousDK,

No choice. Have to depend on self-discipline. Often times, he had to be drag to take his bath or dinner. His sleep time is 8plus so no time left afte he do his hw and request to watch TV. I did prepare him for his MT show and tell recently after his FT comment on his English Show and Tell, to practise at home more often.

From what I know, P1 and P2 work are easy. His teacher said he is attentive in class . So maybe no problem now. But P3 will be shocking tjme. Big jump I guess. worry he will suffer then since he is so used with his carefree life.
      sigh

Wow, yr DS so responsible . Poor fella, worry about his hw even when he sleep? my DS often forget to bring his completed HHW to school. Now , towards end of term 2, he becomes more aware of what to bring..

        Hi mommies,

We are considering putting our boy at BTPS next year. May I ask if the school conducts any \"tests\" during orientation to assess the kids before entering P1. One of the schools I visited told us that they do \"test\" the kids during orientation.. 😞

        thanks!

Hi to all, need to check if anyone can recommend a good BASC around BTPS? Just registered my DS there this morning for P1 next year. Need to look for one. Went around the area and sae Cherie Heart at Eng Kong. They claimed to have student care but there isn’t any kid attending student care there currently (??)

Hihi! Good news! there's one at Lorong Kilat - The Kidz Club. Strictly Student Care. Tel: 64646468. Ask for Mdm Lim.I just registered my DS this afternoon at BTPS too! I reiki TKC months back, which is pretty decent. They have many student from PHPPS and BTPS. They provide tuition and supervision of homework. I've secured my place with them. As more schools are in morning session, there's more student in the afternoon at the centre than morning.

Add: 33 Lorong Kilat #02-03 Kilat Centre Singapore 598132. Website: http://www.thekidzclub.com.sg

There's also a Kinsland at Block 5 Toh Yi Estate. But I didn't quite like it cuz it's a child care and pretty noisy.

                        Cheers!
