      Iceberries:
i m planning to join SHHK member inorder to get into Phrase 2B for my little one in 3 yrs time. will the NCPS change the registration procedures of not accepting the SHHK endorsement letter. I heard from a friend that Mee Toh use to accept endorsement letter but has stop accepting since last yr.

      anyone can advise. thanks.
Think will be better if u call the school to find out more first. Every school have different policies. And bear in mind Phase 2B might also go into balloting if the number of applications more than available vacancies. If that happens, think the distance criteria will set in.

i think my hse is within 1~2km from the school. so if go into balloting, it will be high chances of not getting in under P2B 😞

Hmmm... take a chance if you really like ur kid to go to this school. Maybe like this year, no balloting for P2B. 😄

                Hi,

Heard that Sengkang Primary will be doing a major reno in two years time. The kids will stay put at the school while the school is doing reno so I think a bit dusty and noisy. You may wish to re-confirm with the school.

Hi, I go thru the sch website -both SK and NS pri sch looks equi to me. But I realised that SK may be strong in sports and NS is rather active in performing arts eg the guitar grp got Gold award before. So if SK is nearer to your house then go for it. I feel that dist is very impt - 6 years of up and down to sch 🙂 - must think heavy rain days too

                        Hi education,

I already changed strategy and registered at Anchor Green (see my post on 31Jul). Cannot take the pressure of balloting 2 times. We are not so lucky like last year where those not successful at 2C ballot will definitely get a place at Anchor Green or North Vista at 2C supp.

But i really envy u all who might get in to your first choice sch lor.

Now i hv registered with Anchor Green , i think of North Vista.
If i hv registered with North Vista i will think of Anchor Green. Am i crazy ? :?
Anchor Green seems more academically focused and North Vista seems more on whole child development. But reporting time of North Vista is good. Get to sleep a bit later.

                        Rgds,
                        JSC
