Called GESPS just now, argued with them and found that 20+ applicants were registered with in 1 km and they will conduct balloting for 1-2km. 60 mins to go. wiat and see.

initally, they regret to tell me the no. of people register with in 1km. but i told them, i am staying in Bukit merah, i have missed Zhangde and unsuccessful in RM. so, based on the no. of people with in 1 km, i can decide wether to with draw or not. after hearing all those stories, she told me 20 + applicants were registered with in 1km at 12hr. i am feeling relaxed now. i will call them again around 4.40 p.m to check the status with in 1km.

I think that the school should exercise some form of social responsibility if they know that no of applicants within 1km exceeds vacancies. In this way, parents who are more than 1km could proceed to their next option.

Having said that, they may not be able to confirm thefinal numbers till the last minute. All the best to you…keep posted

Atleast GESPS staffs can tell the approximate figures, but QPS, they are keep on saying " we are still having vacancies".

Sumoon, I also agree that GESPS is pretty quiet about the stats of applicants for today. I'm really glad to hear that only 20+ within 1 km applied for GESPS. Was still praying very hard last nite and preparing for the worst . Let's hope this figure stays and both our children can get in !!!

Sumoon, I think QPS is trying to say that as at now, no balloting for all who applied so far.
