Anway GESPS can wait til Ph2C (S) as we still have the 1~2KM advantage
U may have try for the better Zhangde or any Schools Over 2KM in town or even Fairfield Methodist so let our MOE knows roving people like with nowhere to go outside 2Km will then go test the patience of people living elsewhere but also out of 2Km of their preferred school??
For me trying for CHIJ is my only good bet since elsewhere even GESPS is too inconvenient as it is within 2Km but really out fo the way compared to CHIJ which is on the way to town at kg Bahru.
Think you just threw ur chance for a better school than GESPS like that.
Anyway i would rather get out somewhere > 2Km than go to Blangah Rise for some obvious reasons not to be mentioned here.

Seem like Blangah Rise all these years the supply is more than demand. Looking at just in Bt Merah, BRPS is the school with the newest facilities where of course Cantonment Primary is the best of now.

As for RMPS, 96 balloting for 80 places staying in 1Km. -
I heard CHIJ is 35 ballot for 15 vacancies for outside 2km.
