Maybe MOE might just step in and the whole game of P1 registration will be changed by then.

      Haiz janet_lee88

We can only hope the P1 Registration can be changed but I think nothing will happen so soon lar. Maybe by the next GE if we are lucky, when PAP start to be scared again

Right now they just won so they couldn't care less lor. 🀷

I hope don't change for phase 2A. :xedfingers:

Its always good to plan early, and assess the chances and do some planning of the likely outcome (parameter, increase or decrease as compared to historical data) and make some choices before we get panic when its too late to react/act.

Having a new thread also can consolidate the scattered queries and comments for next year intake.

              I am just wondering …

If I have a kid who is in P6 now and my 2nd kid is going to P1 next year …I will be in phrase 1
then how about if my 2nd kid is only going to apply to P1 next year…will I be in phrase 1 or 2A or start all over again ?

It would be Phase 2A(2) if your 2nd kid is only going to apply to P1 next year and be in P1 in 2013.

Phase 2A(2) -> a) For a child whose parent or sibling has studied in the school of choice

To add on a bit of information on the birth rate, for 2006 babies there are 38317 babies, more than the 2005 babies. This figures excludes the PRs & foreigners... but I guess next year registration will be a tough one too.
