      Hi Jeslyn,

Go and take a look a NorthSpring pri then. I would think u should go for the nearer one to home, punggol may be too far for you? NorthSpring areas have too many good pri sch -eg rivervale pri and is older estate compared to nanchiau, Anchor green pri - so I guess the take up rate is not high as all parents like u and me will try rivervale first (for the academic reason) then if cant get in will either choose Sengkang pri or North spring pri. The sch has achieved new award in 2008 or 2009. And it is rather strong in its string essember cca. You can always transfer your child out next yr.
      Hi,

But I heard from my friends that principal of North Spring only concentrates more on sports/CCA than academic. They also keep changing teachers.

I still feel that all sch will want to produce gd results students- even the sports school. As for changing teachers - I did not hear much, but fyi all NIE trained teachers will be distributed fairly to all sch for trial teachings the lower pri classes or the \"slower' classes may get it more often then

          Papa:
Just received the letter from Anchor Green Primary School!! It's actually the carbon copy of the Application Form (yellow) we filled during registration at Phase 2C Supp last week. Signed off by the Principle, confirming that our child is successful in securing a place in their school Orientation on 21st November 9am.

          me too!! 😄

My boy is no. 32 out of 73 slots... I thought i might scream for joy, but realised really too nervous even to scream. I arrived there at around 9.10am. Went to the first 2 rows to sit. Think almost all the parents sitting the first 2 rows all got it... Congratulations to all those who got into their first choice of school.

I couldn't sleep last night. Went back to the office to work.. haha... Finally tonight can sleep in peace.

Think it's very thoughtful for the principal of Anchor Green to come to NCPS today. At least for those parents who din get it, will know they can go orientate AGPS before they make a decision to register for Phase 2C supp this Friday.
My Daughter also got in, I think i get it abt 35 out of 73. Very lucky both of us, I even went up to the stage to draw another 5 lots for other students... I cannot suppress my triumpt that time!! hahahaha

                Hi

My mind is more or less quite set on one of the primary school… but on second thots, think it may be a good idea to seek your opinions/comments:-

i’m within 1km to 3 primary sch in sengkang.

                1) nan chiau
                2) north vista
                3) compassvale, i think .

which sch should i enrol my child in?

                pls share your opinions/comments.

                thanks.

My child is in Compassvale; so so only. I hv no choice becos it is the oni sch within 1km.

My son is choosing his sec sch soon and I checked all the sec schs in SengKang, I think NV is the worst so I hv a very bad impression of the primary sch.
