Is mummy the better parent?
-
When I raise my voice at my boy, he is scared.
When my husband raises his voice at the boy, he is very very scared.
When I nag 100x, my boy then leaps into action.
When my husband stares at the boy, the boy leaps into action.
When I praise my boy, he is happy.
When my husband praises the boy, he is very very happy. -

But hey... if you and your husband are drowning in the sea and he can only save 1 person, who do you think he will save without even thinking about it? You of course. When I raise my voice at my boy, he is scared.

Oh yeah.
I use that to 'coax' him to learn swimming...or rather, I told him that his dad will save me and so he will have to save himself. so he has no choice. -
I think it depends on whether your child is a girl or a boy. I think girls are usually closer to dads.

In other words...dads are usually closer to daughters...in other words, am I glad I have only 2 sons. *selfish selfish me* -
I guess mum and dad play different roles.
Mummy is usually the first person you go to for comfort… be it physical or emotional. That’s why moms has to know when to be tough and when to be soft and accomodating to the children.
Father on the other hand, always play the constant anchor role. Someone you can always count on, give you advice/counsel and fall back to with his arms open wide… waiting for a hug. : ) -

LOL... I can't disagree... I only have the one girl in my family. Only child. She's closer to me than my wife. But I think that's because I am a long-time sufferer..... I am ....*drumroll*.... a hands-on father. I don't regret it, she can be very sweet to me. But very very tough life, can die one. Almost did when i was sole breadwinner.super_dad:

I have 2 girls. The elder one was very close to the dad since young. But surprisingly the second one sticks to me like a leech, doesnt like the daddy at all!! I wonder why...

Family =
F- father
A - and
M - mother
I - i
L - love
Y - you
Mummy and daddy will play different roles in your little ones life
( be it good or not -
be it up to expectation or not)
Kids are blessed when mummy and daddy
play their respective roles diligently … hehehe
