Welcome to BTPS. Hope yr kids will enjoy every second in this lovely school…

Bus has diff timing and price for different area. It is a bit expensive compare to some bus operator in other schools. But good point is there is bus arrangement for most CCA in the afternoon.

Overall, bus reaches school by 7.20am… Eg: Bukit Batok area, bus will fetch kids at 6.40am
In 2011, BTPS has different school hours… 3 days until 1.30pm, 1 day 12.30pm and another day 12.00pm…

          Dear parents,

Today my ds brought back "Performance Task" paper on "Mass".
He (from resilience) and few classmates were asked to do the paper at Compassion class.
I asked him what is this for but as usual he said "don’t know" !!
This is the first time i see this…anyone can enlighten me what is this all about ??

The kids will usually have \"Performance Tasks\" on English, Maths and MTL once in a while. The performance tasks need not be a test-like thing, and they may have to do it in another class or with another teacher facilitating the task. They had already had a few \"Performance Tasks\" before, and it comes back for signing and filing. The purpose of these tasks I guess is to find out whether the kids have learnt and understood the concepts well.

My DS also in 1 Resilience. 😄 What is your DS's name?

DS is Jonathan. I will check his BT Kit daily (the school diary which he records all the homework, tests, reminders etc) and Performance Tasks is written as PT. There are also other \"short forms\" e.g. PS (Pls sign/Parent signature). Nowadays the records have become more scribbly (used to be quite neat so that I can make out most of what he is writing...). Boys... sigh

Hi mommies of kids in BTPS,

I wonder if anyone can enlighten me on which are the days that kids have CCAs? And if Pri 1 kids have to take any? Just wanna see if I need to reschedule any of my gal's enrichment classes.

And also if you know of any good and reliable BAFSC around the school? Been thinking of going back to work...

                        Hi Jeanieg,

I have secured a place at The Kidz Club for BAFSC at Kilat Centre. I was told by the school that there's quite a number of BTPS kids go there. They also have transport to pick the kids up from the school to the centre at a fee. For kids who has CCA, they will still pick them up but with a fee top up. Hope this help!
