If we apply for PV now for 2011 intake, by when will the school inform us about the outcome? And does it mean that we will have to do PV for 1.5 years, starting 2009 until mid 2010.

        Hi Champion,

I called Pioneer just now and they said the nos of children has exceeded, so need ballot....lucky never go there and try...

I also check the after school care centre just now...there is one Golden link opp the coffee shop - blk 263 there , any idea is it good ?

Or any parents come across this after school care ?

        Hi KL,
Happy to know that you have registered with Coroporation Primary too then next year our children maybe classmates in the same class. Yes, i was also impressed by the school environment and the surroundings - very peaceful and quiet.....

Yes, i agree with you - the distance to walk in is abit far so I will put my girl to take the school bus.

        KL:

        Hi,

I have completed my registration at corp sch too. My bus pass by the pioneer school and I can see a lot of parents waiting at the hall there...
I think there is a need for balloting...

My impression to corp sch quite good, big and new, just the distance is still a problem... a lit bit far lah...[quote=\"Champion\"]Hi KL & ctcc,
How was the registration this Morning? I just came back from Corporation Primary - still has many vacancies. The principal and teachers are all very friendly and helpful. I heard from my friends that Pioneer Primary School is very crowded and \"flooded\" with many parents.....

            Hi ctcc & KL,

Just checked the website - I believe all our children are in this time for the respective school....Finally.....

Only Pioneer needs another round of balloting with 114 applicants against 54 vacancies.

              Hi Champion, ctcc & KL,

Gratz! Finally all our child has got a place in the school. Phew...at least we are able to relax now till the next challenge in Jan. This P1 registration process is indeed a 'memorable' experience for all of us 🙂

I stay around Marine Parade. I'm looking for primary school which is nearby my place. As you must know, all primary schools (Tao Nan, Ngee Ann, Tanjong Katong) near my place are hot. So I don't have any chance to get my son in (because my son stay on DP). I would like to ask, does anybody know about Opera Estate, Bedok Green and Telok Kurau? I saw in teletex, those school still have vacancies. Which better should I choose. Thank a ton.

                    Hi mom48.

I think Bedok Green is better than the 2. Why dont you try browsing through its website and visit the school. It will help.

                      Just to add.

                      2007 PSLE

Overall, 96.5% of the P6 cohort of 284 pupils (including 44 P6EM3 pupils) passed and were placed in secondary schools. We would like to congratulate the top pupil – Amanda Charmaine Eng for her outstanding performance – she scored an aggregate of 277 and is now studying in Raffles Girls’ Secondary School together with Ho Ruth Ariel, another pupil with excellent results.
