I was from CCPS. A few of my teachers who used to teach me are still teaching at CCPS. I had a great & memorable time there and i remembered the school stresses a lot on character building such as humility, integrity and being compassionate etc.

If i have a daughter, i will put her back to CCPS. But, too bad… I have a son. Haha!

      Via, Veritas Vita!

Phtthp, does it matters which sec school they attends. If the kids can do better of course they will proceed to a better school. CCPS produce a constant results thru out the years.

some of the girls here are intelligent, hardworking and peservered.
After Pri 6 PSLE, they entered CHIJ St Nicholas - one of excellent Top SAP Secondary schools in SG.

                    Hi Everyone!

My daughter will be joining CCPS next year for P1. I am pretty excited about it. What is primary school's life like these days? I just hope she'll not be too stressed and remains a happy child as she is now 🙂

                      Bumblebeez,

1st half of the year is quite ok. The school wants the kids to love learning so not much homework. There will be alot of reading practises to bring home so ur kid will read to you and u will rate your kid accordingly.

For Chinese students, after mid year the school will start to separate the students into Higher Chinese class and those taking the normal chinese. After June holiday the gers that perform better in CL will go for the higher CL lesson.

After June holiday, there is a sudden increase of work for P1 gers. There are lot of English writing like mini composition for ther gers. My ger is to write 80 - 100 words for each English Writing paper.

There will be EL and CL/ML/TL Oral in Aug and tropical tests for Math.

Althought the school can take a more technology approach by giving out notices to parents or post important date and event on their school website but I guess they still wants the gers to be a responsible person.

The gers still write down impt dates and task they required to take note and do in their blue notebook. So parents rbr to check the gers notebook everyday.
