besides testing kids from Assumption school, why not test directly on all children from ‘Association of the Blind’ ?

these pitiful children are already blind - so there is no need to blind fold them anymore.

if this technique claims that it can work by blindfolding children - surely the same method should also work on blind children too, right ? why should there be a difference ?

        good point.

wonder why skeptics do not write in to ask the management this question.

if this can be demo on blind children, and proven successful, then this mid brain technique that’s been proven in public - will sell like hot cakes !

many parents will be clamoring to sign up their child for this brain training skill

Well Krazy, there are testimonials and there are testimonials. I’m sure you’ll agree that there are a lot of fake testimonials on the web.

The point is not in the testimonials but in the achievement of the students. If the students can achieve this ability, the program can be used for the blind, for social good. That has not been the case, despite you pointing out the fact that they are a socially responsible corporation, not out to fleece people of their hard earned cash. I’ve yet to hear of stories where students can tell the contents of a sealed box. That would be a very good demonstration of the student’s abilities. Putting to rest, all the peek at the gap blindfold sceptics.

              Hi Kelly888

I confirmed that the passage from Krazy on Assumption school was a Mailer from GMC. I received it as well.

It doesnt matter whether that post was indeed cut and paste from the mailer or not, does it? The whole game is about convincing you to part your money and it is you to decide whether you want to buy the product or not.

But I agree with cimman that it is a cleverly designed scam, like it or not. You cant turn into something so brilliant in just 2 days. Think about it.

                  Hi YellowBelt

Well, I’m not a marketer of GMC but I did send my son during the last Jun Holiday for the 2 days course. Now my son, 8 yrs old can blindfold to read books, newspaper and even play ipad. The main purpose for me to send my son to the course is to help him to improve on his memory power, concentration n etc. So far, I noticed that he takes shorter time to learn his subjects. Behavior wise, I think he expresses himself more than b4. Again, I want to stress that i’m not here to promote anything , instead just stating the fact and sharing. Cheer !

                    Potential
                    last edited by

I sent both my children for the activation. Both benefited deeply.

My girl from low self confidence to a very confidence girl.
She went when she was P6 and now she is in Sec 1. Her memory has definitely improves that she took shorter time to study and yet score for all her papers. She had never been top few in class from P1 to P5.
My boy was not strongly activated the first time round. The company has invited him back for another activation. This time he is strongly activated. Pretty much immediate as the moment he jumped into the car, he was so exctied that he did it!
My boy has improved his memory after the activation and has improved his grade in his P4. Now he is in P5. I would say his result after activation is not as rewarding as his elder sister. Nonetherless I would not say the activation doesn’t work. After the activation, the motivation coming from the family is very important. As my boy is coached by his aunt who was a teacher, she is always sending negative comments to my boy. That kind of sending his learning curve down. My girl is luckier as my sister cannot teach her anymore as she is in Sec 1.
So to all parents that sent your kids for mid brain activation, have faith in them. Not everyone gets activated straight away. Some takes time. As parents we have to believe, encourage and shower them with love. This sound logic for parents that have been doing it. But I seen quite a fair bit parents that sent their kids for activation, expect miracles overnight, give undue pressure and back remarks to the kids. Thus the kids cannot perform blindfolded. But when they are sent back to GMA for maintainance they did it fabulously well. So as parents we need to sometimes reflect ourselves. I am not a perfect mother. When sometimes out of anger I gave negative strokes, my children will remind me. The best way to ensure whatever courses that we sent our kids to, the first thing is parents have to have strong faith and belief. If one doesn’t not believe mid brain activation works than don’t try it. But I would say you deprive your kids of the potential to excel better. Seeing my 2 children results, I have no regrets sending them. What’s more, my children were from 2nd batch. At that point, GMA was not form, no maintainance class, everything was not as organise as now. To all parents, the best way to check if something really works is to go and find out from the company yourself. No point hearing from others especially if you do not know them. Many a time critical parents, their children process an attitude towards learning. Cheers

For Assumption school children activation program, the company did not charge a single amount. The trainer and coaches were volunteer. newkeynesian If this is a scam, you think these coaches and trainer are naive enough to work for 2 full days without paid? From the graducation ceremony you can feel the love and care from the coaches and trainer. The children felt so blessed that they got the new skills. For once, they have people believe in them. Best way to check it out is to talk the students from APS that have activated and the APS teacher as well.

However, we need to be careful who we send our kids to. I just came to know they are new operators doing the same. Am not sure if they have licence to do it. As for GMA, they have license to do it and they have engaged lawyers to do it. I personally knows the lawyer and that is why I am comfortable with the company.

Like all parents we want to give our children the best but we have to cautious where we send them for the courses.

The evidence refuting the entire scam over the internet is available for all to see though not exhaustive. Maybe the word scam is too strong a word, how about replacing it with business model if that what makes you feel better?
