        Hi, 24hr-mum:

Yes...I thought so too. I was waiting for the schedule for AMK branch as the Thomson schedule does not work out for me. After I came back from my holidays yesterday, I noted the AMK branch was not mentioned on its website anymore šŸ˜ž

I noted you've checked around for Maths classes, just wondering if you had the chance to check out Visible Math also in Goldhill Centre.

Ok, i'm a kid in Singapore, I attended Onsponge math workshop b4 (p6) Goldhill., and my experience is...... the teachers there were quite friendly and since the workshop I attended is 5 hours there were tea break & lunch provided normally tea break is bread and lunch is like fish & chips, spaghetti. Yummy! Overall, i think is methods use are ok, a little complicated though...... So, yeah, hope this helps! šŸ˜‰

I suggest you try neuromaths by Norman .

Good and the kids will pick up the model method fast.
My son was with on sponge for a yr.
I just change him over to neuromaths.
                Superb!

What is this Onsponge thing all about ?

My son who is in P3 came back with some worksheets from Onsponge and I couldnt help him as it was too tough. Are those kind of weird questions going to appear in the exams ?

My DD's school always includes two or three challenging questions in every exam. I think if we do onsponge worksheets, the child can think how to solve those challenging questions. I also find those worksheets very difficult. My school kept the answer sheets. So sometimes it is even tougher for parents to guide without the answers. I asked my friend (different school) to photocopy the answers and pass it to me (yet to collect from her).

                      hi,

Any feedback on the Onsponge Maths holiday workshop typically running from 8.30-1pm? factoring in tea break & lunch, guess the actual lesson might be less than 3 hours.

Thinking of signing up my girl for their actual tuition, so would like to use the holiday workshop as a rough gauge to see if the style of suitable for her.

Right now I am really helpless when it comes to model drawing, i will instinctively use algebra when it comes to those \"complicated\" questions, even though it's only P3 questions.....*Sigh* really outdated when it comes to the questions nowadays found in assessment books..... :yikes:

                      Many thanks.

                      Rgds,
                      ming
