          Hi Mummies,

My gal is in P1 this yr as well. She told me she has a locker in school to put things that they do not need? Any idea what is their locker for? I asked if it is to keep their books but she says no.

I saw cubicles outside of the classrooms, along the corridors. Is your girl referring to these cubicles? Not sure, if its for them to keep their things but I won't be surprised if it is. My girl brought books to school yesterday and today and her teachers collected them. Perhaps this is to help with the load that the girls have to carry to school. Also makes it easier for the teachers cuz the books are with them and they do not need to worry that pupils have forgotten to bring them for lessons.

                Welcome Yo0638 πŸ™‚

the locker is to help them with the bag load. Example, if they dont need the text books or the workbooks doesn't have homework for them, they can leave it in the locker instead of bringing back & forth. There isn't a lock on it. so far no one stole... (sch said) so it is pretty safe. just don't leave valuables in the locker.

I see. I teach hence my working days will be the school's days. haha..

teachers don't have leave per say unless its like compassionate leave for immediate family members, or child care... my off days will be the sch hols unless my sch wants teachers back which is often.

So... it is almost impossible to sign up with the parent support group. :

But do share what are some of the things that you have to do as parent volunteer when you get called up. πŸ™‚
