Oh dear! Is the wound big? Please bring this up. Maybe can approach the level manager. If not brought up, the school will never be able to help.[/quote]
2 stitches on the head. The worst thing is that school bus did not send DS1 home immediately. Still toook the usual route. Only called to inform DS was injured by another boy but did not say how serious, just said already stop the bleeding. That night I managed to get hold of the level Manager’s no from other parents and immediately called her. Also emailed to the principal. -
Admummy:
I guess it is based on mutual trust. Even the sch bus that fetches my DD from her child care practice such payment system. For DS1, it's been quite ok for the last 2 years. No dispute and we know the bus attendant well. But I may be pulling DS1 out from sch bus as it is way too early. 1st day bus came at slightly over 6am. Yest n today came even before 6am and DS said they reach sch even before 6.50am. DH has decided that he shall fetch DS1 to sch. But DS2, being in the afternoon session, will continue to take sch bus. Last night DS2 said bs uncle said no need to put seat belt. See, even long distance (cos mine last to alight) also no need to use seat belt.
goodness! stitching up, it's really serious leh...at first i've doubt over what my gal told me.. i don't know whether she's cooking up stories due to laziness...i think i will have a good talk with the attendant first, afterall, my daughter's safety is at risk...i'm not sure whether the principal have control over the bus company?..
thks for the info about how the collection system works...in any case, i still find weakness in terms of control..imagine u can only see the acknowledgement previous month payment when receive the card to collect for the following month...a bit too late right...plus if they bite tongue say didn't receive we also cannot do anything about it right...but of course this could be a long established system used by vendors and i guess mutual trust have to exist...just cross fingers that no disputes..if i can, i really prefer to ownself sent my gal to school, too bad no choice... -
When I drop off my dd at 7am, there were many students sitting at the courtyard. The school buses have left. If I am not mistaken, they need to ferry other people (ie workers) too.

Does anyone notice that the website on Maha Bodhi is not updated frequently? In fact, there are no updates of any 2012 events at all.
-
Yes I realised too, also, i realised that you will get contact no only from younger F/T but not the older teacher, especially the retired teacher n coming back to teach. They seldom give much feeback on the child, this is what i experience from the previous year.
Anyone can share which is the best chinese class for the chinese lesson for Pr 3? -
The MBS website, despite being revamped, is not updated regularly. Some parents have given feedback but nothing much has been done so far.
The best chinese class could be CL4 as the student who got best in P2 Chinese last year is in that class…my guess only lah. -
i just called Bao Ta… no vacancies… quite sad…

I was at sch at 11+ today. I observed that for the smaller buses w/o the bus attendant, all the children are belt up in the bus. But for the bigger buses w bus attendant, they don’t use the seat belt even if there were seat belts installed. All kind parents whose children are on such buses, pls help to feedback to the sch principal. I will also feedback to principal.
Ya, the buses need to rush to ferry office workers after they drop off the children. But the bus attendant told me just now "have tone early or else this area jam"! Hai…
Yes, DS1 told me in p3, CL4 is the best class. -
Hi,
Is Maha Bodhi on full day session now for Primary one session?
Didn’t mention much on both MOE or the school website.
Thank you very much.
Regards -
By the way, is it true that Maha Bodhi now do not accept Parent Volunteers?
For primary one session, are the P1 children paired with the senior students in school for first few days?
