Agree, agree, that's why joking with hubby only
Have faith in your kid - won't need to write appeal letter!!
[/quote]Thank you, I believe he is in good hands. Some children may have flair in languages, some may not, but I believe that if the children are willing to learn and the teachers dedicated, they should be able to achieve a decent score.

May I ask any parents who have kids attended the 1st French lesson on Mon?
For iPad2, which type (16GB, 32GB or 64GB) are you choosing?
Thank-you. -

After reading some of the posts here, I am pretty sad to say some parents simply don't know what is going on in RV. Please, get involved in your kids' life by at least attend talks or briefings organised by the school or read the newspapers and get your facts right. ...... For the iPad thingy, other schools are doing it as well....Nanyang Girls is one of them. Some other schools have MacBook. Also, also get both sides of the stories. Some kids may be angels at home, but not so angelic in school. When things go wrong, don't finger point at others but yourself..Who says parenting is easy? Take responsibility!!
Justaparent, you sound very upset, relax lah!
This is a sharing forum, likely most of the parents in this forum want to know more. For Y1, only one forum with the school so far (last Sat), how to know more, unless you are very free, everyday stick with the kid! -

The IT HOD mentioned that 16GB is sufficient. (Unless the kid download many movies & does not manage the disk memory well) -

Instead of buying one with a bigger memory space, I am thinking of saving the extra to buy a portable hard disk.

All Y4 students are gathered together to listen to the P talk and then receive their results. The B4 criteria has been emphasized for as long as I know during briefings by the school. Hi justaparent, I guess you are the one who should get the facts right.
Since when did anyone mentioned that P asked students with D7 to write letter in advance?
You sound like 'disciplining' the parents here. Be more friendly la...
Btw, parents here already know most of what you have mentioned if you read through the earlier posts. We may be kiasuparent, but we are not ignorant parent leh... :siam: -
Y1 parents,
Are you going to buy a compre book, a grammar book and an english dic as listed on an updated booklist?
