Krazy, I have been pondering on the same concern as you do. Iโ€™ve asked DD abt it & she says her teacher did not mention anything. Will just put her on her PE attire since she has PE today.

      Mummies :

Received the notice on the meet up for PST on 03 Feb noon & will have to drop the reply slip in the designated box at the general office by 26 Jan 2012. I wonder if DD knows where to drop. Thinking to ask her to pass to her teacher instead.

re: chinese new year celebration today

There is no word that the girls go to school in their cny garb, right? panicking... haha.. cuz i dont want her to be the odd one out wearing sch u when she has to dress up.
Nuh, it is normal school today. No CNY outfit and a simple celebration

your girl takes ballet and hence needs to go to sch earlier on some days. does she take the school bus?

how do we go about making arrangements? can we just inform the bus driver or i have to send my girl down myself on the days she needs to be there early? how does it work?

DD1 is attending a student care near PLMGS so they will walk her over when she has CCAs.

The registration for ballet has already been filled up during orientation as they have limited spots...

I see. The student care centre, good? I am thinking of putting my girl in one when she goes to pri 3.

my girl wants to do the fun gym and their classes are from 10 to 12pm, twice a week so... a headache since she takes the sch bus. i guess i will have to make my own arrangement to get her to sch on the days where she is required to go earlier.

Yes, so far, there is only a notice given for Guzheng. I don't think we will sign my girl up as she has extra coaching class for ballet now to prep for her ballet exam in march. the timing clashes.

As for the fun gym class, guess I will find out from her teacher on 4 feb. there is also another thing i want to find out: is ccas compulsory from pri 3 onwards and whether we can clock in hours which we do outside of sch for a cca that is not provided by the sch directly. well, i do hope we get to speak to someone come 4 feb and its not just \"talk and share\" session by the principal again.

krazy, is your girl going for grade 1?

dds are in pre-primary junior so long way to go.

CCAs are compulsory at P3 ,I dont think you can clock hours externally. they have a weekly schedule which you can take a look on their website.

                        yeah, grade 1 this year.

hmm... i am not sure if we can factor in time for another cca should the school not permit outside activity. ๐Ÿ˜ž i know that some schools allow, of course with special permission and also coaches, parents and school to counter-sign to make sure that a certain number of hours is clocked per week.
will pray that plmgs allows also else we will have to give up some of the stuff she is doing now.
